How does it work ?

Internet along with development of new codecs etc now allows for bandwidth of between 5 Kbps to 8 kbps per channel instead of 64 kbps for traditional telephony. This means 8 or more conversations can be carried along the same bandwidth which of course means more savings.


This means tremendous amount of savings for the consumer since the Internet routes packets faster and cheaper than traditional scenarios.
